Our first Ghana volunteers touched down in the summer of 2019 after a year-long assessment period of the country for suitability. Realising the incredible opportunities Ghana has to offer, we created our flagship Psychology, and Public Health programmes in collaboration with Ghana’s top university. We have supported the start-up of an NGO working with girls in Accra, providing them with school and vocational education. We also work in hospitals, and a school in what was a refugee, before transitioning to a town when the refugees were granted settled status. We know that you won’t want to miss the chance of matching up with these amazing projects in Ghana.
